Getting Ready for Readathon

We know that we are going to read many books in the next few weeks and will be needing some good recommendations, so we are going to write 'book blurbs' to entice readers. Today we had to read the blurb on the back of our book and decide in groups what does actually make a good blurb. Here are our thoughts.

    Wow, what great thinking going on Rm 22. Does the blurb give give a good feel for the genre?

    I am very keen to read some of these blurbs and would love it if you can post onto the blog when they are available. I might be keen to read one of the books myself! Is this something we can share with other classes in the school also?
