These are our pen pals from Botany Downs school in Auckland. We have written some letters about ourselves to them,and they have replied with letters telling us about them. The back of the letters made a puzzle. These are pictures of the cards that they sent us and the information sheet.

In the Koru Suite we are also sketching superheroes. We are using a range of pencils to shade in a variety of ways.

Wow! What fun we have had in the Koru Suite today! We have started on our superheroes based on Alberto Giacometti's wire sculptures. Our finished off superheroes will have superhero capes as well.

This morning before school Lily.R, Rosa, Daya and Cade did all the times tables from 1-12 and some other maths equations on the white board table. We spent the whole morning doing this activity, it was really fun but we found it challenging in some ways.

Epro8
What a lot of fun and learning this group had at the Epro8 challenge on Friday. They came fifth in the competition and each member of the group made wonderful contributions. What a great team!

Music Fun
Today we had music and we first watched a cartoon video on how to make a rhythm using our hands. We then worked in pairs or groups of three to make up our own rhythm using 4 beats. We performed our rhythm using a range of instruments.
