Congratulations Room 22

I am so pleased with all my class. Wow what an effort learning their tables and division facts this week. It proved "hard work brings results!' I also have been delighted to watch the interest in the Reading Theory programme we have on the ipads at the moment. The children can access this on any device at home as they have an individual password. Well Done Room 22 - you are awesome learners (and great children). Keep learning!

Minecraft Maths

Today we used Minecraft to explore some Maths. Mrs Legarth and Mrs Tomlinson had tried this at a staff meeting and were not as successful with us. We learnt how important it was to read the problem and interpret it so we could answer it accurately. (The 15 in the photo above should be 1/5)

Making Mojo

In Room 21&22 we have been learning about growth mindset and these are Mojos that we made out of bottles and paper. We had to use what we have learnt about growth mind set and Mojo to write it on a piece of paper and stick it in to the bottle. Here is one summary we have learnt from Mojo, Never give up, and challenge your brain to learn more.
